Social groups

Following an acquired brain injury many survivors and their families struggle to adjust to the changes and their usual social outlets e.g. work, the pub, sports clubs seem to be no longer an option.

Groups can help reduce the isolation frequently felt by families and survivors and are a good way to begin to reintegrate into the wider community.  They provide a safe, stimulating environment for people to share experiences and strategies and to relax and have fun.
